Wow is all I can say. I had seen some good reviews so I thought I would give The Balti House a try. The best Indian meal I have had for years. Chicken Puri was amazing fluffy bread and well spiced and flavoured chicken, the main meal was equally as good. Kema nann was well cooked with just the right amount of spice. The host was fantastic really friendly and chatty. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nottingham.

I have been here many times, lovely little curry house. Nice food, friendly staff, great service. Whenever I have an event in Nottingham City Centre I will always go to the Balti House, 60 for meal for two with a bottle of wine, fantastic value. I love this place.

Our 1st time here at one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Nottingham - and why did we leave it so long....?!? From a very friendly greeting from Bash & Sam to a lovely send off, this was a thoroughly enjoyable meal & visit. Food was to die for, the chicken puri is huge (& so delicious, i forgot to photographit..!). I had the patro chicken ( apparently the only place in UK serving it) for something different - wow! Fabulous dish, I had it Madras strength but can be spiced to the heat you want it. We'll definitely be back (to try the Peru specials!!). Take away & delivery available too. Many thanks

The only regretful thing I could think of is not knowing this place earlier despite living in the Nottingham for 8 years! Lovely family run curry house with not-that-spicy but definitely flavourful curry (You can go for the Naga challenge if you want to have really spicy stuff). We had Prawn Puri and Platter Vegetable as starters, Creamy Jalfraji and Creamy Roganjosh as mains. What impressed me was the selection of available nan, especially the Peshwari Nan (Honey and Coconut Paste Nan) which simply blown my mind off - best carb to pair with for those who loves sweet stuff. The owner, Sam, is friendly and surely knows his dishes well enough to accomodate to customers with different dietary requirements. Will definiltey go again just to try other dishes.

The food was generous - I was half full by the starter veg puree. Main dishes went well with rice. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Rogan Josh was to die for! Went here for date night as tried every other Indian restaurant and takeaway in the Nottingham area and this place beats them all. We was greeted at the door and shown to a table where we was served with popadoms whilst we waited for our food. The service was AMAZING and felt like the most welcome atmosphere in Nottingham. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE as it’s authentic food where as a lot of other places are fake googled recipe and use food colouring.
